Essential Cuisine Awards

Essential Cuisine is proud to announce their remarkable results from the prestigious 2010 International Taste & Quality Institute (iTQi) Awards, with all five Essential Cuisine Pestos being awarded Two Stars. Essential Cuisine Beef Stock also won a Superior Taste Award at the 2008 iTQi awards, in recognition of the care and attention that was taken to produce this exceptional stock.

About the iTQi Superior Taste Award

Food manufacturers from countries all over the world present products to compete annually and in the case of the Essential Cuisine pesto range, it is rare to have a group of 5 products with such a high score. Each individual product is scrutinized and judged by 12 Michelin and Gault et Millau chefs on 5 key points = First impression, Vision, Smell, Texture and Taste. Final results of 60% and over score a one Star, 80% scores two Star and 90% score 3 Star. Essential Cuisine was the only Pesto with an award this year.
